Talent + Humber Leaders Programme Session One - Applicants Only

The Humber Leaders Programme officially began with Future Humber welcoming the inaugural cohort of emerging and developing leaders for the first session of its new Talent+ leadership programme.

Facilitated by John Harrison, the opening session, Self-Awareness Through Change, invited participants to explore how people respond to change, recognise different change states, and develop a deeper understanding of their own leadership behaviours.

Bringing together professionals from across Humber, the programme was designed to develop the leadership skills needed to build trust, lead through uncertainty, and create positive change within organisations, teams and communities.

The morning sparked open discussion, honest reflection and valuable shared learning, setting a strong tone for the journey ahead. Participants were encouraged to think about their own role as leaders, how they show up during periods of change, and how self-awareness can shape the way they support others.

A huge thank you to John Harrison for facilitating the session, and to everyone in the cohort for contributing so openly and thoughtfully throughout the morning.

This first session marked the start of an exciting journey for Talent+ and for the next generation of Humber leaders.
