Youth Employment Summit 2026: Humber Delegation

2nd December 2026
8:30am - 4:00pm
Central Hall Westminster, London
YES 1

Future Humber will be taking a delegation of Humber businesses and organisations to the Youth Employment Summit 2026 in Westminster, bringing our region's voice to the national conversation on youth employment, skills and the future workforce.

Taking place on Wednesday 2 December, the summit will bring together employers, government representatives, policymakers, educators and young people to explore how national policy can translate into meaningful action.

With skills development, access to opportunity and talent retention critical to Humber's future prosperity, this is an important opportunity to ensure our region is represented in discussions shaping the UK's approach to youth employment.

The programme will explore four key themes: skills and training, employer action, policy change and youth voice, with a particular focus on strengthening talent pipelines and creating meaningful opportunities for young people.

Our Humber delegation will have the opportunity to:

  • Represent Humber's businesses, communities and ambitions on a national platform.
  • Connect with employers, policymakers and education leaders from across the UK.
  • Share perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing young people in our region.
  • Bring valuable insights, connections and learning back to Humber to inform future collaboration and action.

At Future Humber, we recognise that developing, attracting and retaining talent is fundamental to our region's long-term success. By bringing together organisations from across Humber, we want to ensure that our collective voice contributes to the national conversation while identifying practical opportunities to make a difference locally.
