Leading the Way with Effective Communication

Mike Raven, Principal Project Manager at East Riding Council and recipient of the G4C Mentor of the Year award, led this event, exploring how to become a great leader, and the importance of ensuring an effective communication style in doing this. Mike provided an overview of ways in which we can all improve our self-awareness and understanding of those around us. By identifying what works for us as individuals and increasing our personal awareness, we can harness our strengths to build strong relationships with our teammates and colleagues.

Mike shared that it is not all about communicating, it's about communicating in the right ways.
