Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration 2025

The Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration took place on Thursday 26 June at The Manor Rooms in Drewtons, bringing Bondholders together for an evening of conversation, reflection and recognition.
Opening the event, Bill Walker, Chair of Future Humber, thanked everyone for the part they play in strengthening the region’s profile and ambition. He spoke about the crucial role the Bondholder community continues to have in promoting the Humber as a place where businesses can thrive and new ideas can take root.
The evening’s Lifetime Awards recognised organisations whose long-standing involvement has made a lasting impact across the network and the wider region:

The final presentation of the evening was the Changemaker Award, which celebrates organisations making an exceptional contribution to the Humber’s communities and economy. This year’s award was presented to Back to Ours, a charity and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation founded as part of Hull UK City of Culture 2017. Back to Ours has become known for bringing world-class arts experiences directly into neighbourhoods across Hull, making culture accessible to everyone.

As the second recipient of the Changemaker Award, following OTC Grimsby in 2024, Back to Ours will receive a year of membership within the Bondholder network to support its continued growth and connections.
Throughout the evening, Bondholders shared ideas, reconnected with familiar faces and reflected on the difference that collaboration can make. Future Humber extends its sincere thanks to all Bondholders for their commitment to building a stronger, more confident Humber.
