Developed through a unique partnership between Daisy Appeal, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the University of Hull and GE Healthcare, the £9 million Molecular Imaging Research Centre (MIRC) is helping place Hull at the forefront of medical innovation.
Equipped with its own cyclotron and specialist research laboratories, the facility is one of only a handful of its kind worldwide. It has the potential to transform how diseases such as cancer, dementia and heart disease are diagnosed and studied, while strengthening Humber's reputation as a centre for world-leading research, innovation and collaboration.
During this exclusive Industry Insight, attendees will hear directly from the team behind the facility before gaining access to areas not normally open to the public, including the cyclotron suite, research laboratories and quality control facilities.
The session will explore how cutting-edge healthcare technology, scientific research and industry collaboration are coming together in Hull to improve patient outcomes, attract investment and create opportunities for future partnerships.
