Invitation Only - Gunfleet Roundtable
In Partnership with RSM.
The recent Gunfleet Sands decision has generated significant interest across the renewables and infrastructure sectors, raising important questions about the capital allowances treatment of major projects and the potential implications for project economics.
Future Humber and RSM are jointly hosting a private breakfast roundtable at RSM’s Hull offices, bringing together developers, investors and senior representatives from across the renewables and infrastructure supply chain.
The session will be hosted by Sheena McGuinness, RSM’s Head of Renewables and Co-Head of Energy and Natural Resources, with contributions from specialists in capital allowances, tax resolution and disputes, financial reporting and the supply chain.
Discussion will cover:
· What the Gunfleet Sands decision means in practice
· Potential implications for offshore wind and other major infrastructure projects
· Considerations relating to historic tax returns and ongoing enquiries
· Accounting and financial reporting implications
· Practical actions businesses should consider taking now
This is a vital and timely issue for businesses involved in offshore wind, renewable energy, carbon capture, hydrogen, infrastructure and wider supply chains. Given the potential implications for historic claims, current project economics and future investment decisions, we strongly encourage you, or an appropriate senior colleague, to attend and contribute to this important discussion.
This will be a private, invite-only roundtable, providing an opportunity for an open and informed discussion. The Chatham House Rule will apply.
