Shining a spotlight on culture’s role in shaping growth, identity and ambition for organisations on the South Bank

Join us for a unique cross-sector event bringing together business, culture and civic leadership to explore how culture is shaping the future of Humber.

Set within the iconic surroundings of Grimsby Minster, this event will take place beneath Helios - a large-scale illuminated installation by internationally renowned artist Luke Jerram. Using this striking cultural setting as a backdrop, the evening will combine business insight, cultural perspective and live performance to demonstrate the role arts and culture play in driving economic growth, strengthening identity and connecting communities.

Culture is not a “nice to have” - it is a powerful contributor to how places grow, compete and tell their story. This event will position culture as a strategic sector, exploring its role in regeneration, inward investment, talent attraction and regional confidence.

Delivered in collaboration between Future Humber, The Culture House and Humber Business Week, the event brings together a powerful combination of perspectives - connecting cultural ambition with business influence and regional opportunity.

You’ll hear from leaders across business, culture and local government, sharing insight into Grimsby’s growing cultural momentum, the impact of investment and funding, and the opportunity this creates for Humber.

The evening will also include the official launch of the Humber Business Week 2026 programme, with a spotlight on South Bank events and opportunities to connect with people across our business community.
