Collaboration, innovation and growth do not happen in isolation. They are shaped by the people, relationships and places around us.

As part of the Business Systems Showcase, Future Humber will bring together representatives from local businesses for a fast-moving, interactive conversation about the relationship between place and business success.

Humber is home to businesses that have started here, grown here and chosen to invest here, while competing nationally and internationally. Together, we’ll explore how being based in Humber influences growth, investment, talent and reputation; whether our location creates a genuine competitive advantage; and whether businesses could be more confident about selling Humber alongside their own organisations.

Expect real experiences, honest opinions and audience participation. The session will challenge perceptions, uncover some of Humber’s less-recognised strengths and ask how greater pride and a stronger collective voice could help businesses and the wider region grow.
