Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration 2026

25th June 2026
5:00pm - 8:00pm
Taphouse, Humber Street, Hull
Future Humber
Humber Business Week Launch 2026 19

The annual celebration recognised the organisations and individuals helping shape the future of Humber, celebrating long-standing commitment, lasting impact and the partnerships that continue to move the region forward.

Throughout the evening, one message stood out above all else: Humber's greatest strength has always been its people.

The people who show up. The people who back each other. The people who open doors, create opportunities and choose collaboration over competition.

One of the highlights of the evening saw Back to Ours, Future Humber's 2025 Changemaker, reflect on what the recognition had meant over the past year before handing the title to ACE – Lived Experience, our 2026 Changemaker.

The Changemaker Award recognises organisations creating positive, lasting impact across Humber. Alongside the award, ACE – Lived Experience will receive a complimentary year of Future Humber Bondholder membership, helping create new partnerships, strengthen connections and continue growing its impact across the region.

The evening also celebrated organisations whose continued commitment has helped shape the Future Humber network over many years.

A special presentation was also made to Andrew Hirst, Future Humber's Financial Director, who will be leaving the organisation after more than 20 years of service. Andrew was recognised for his unwavering dedication, support and contribution to Future Humber and Humber's business community over the past two decades.

As Future Humber continues its work to champion the region nationally and internationally, the Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration remains a reminder that place promotion starts at home.

Because when we celebrate Humber's strengths, connect its people and back the organisations making a difference, we create more opportunities for everyone.

Good things happen when Humber gets in the same room.

Thursday 25 June | 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Taphouse, Humber Street, Hull

Join us for one of the most anticipated moments in the Bondholder calendar - an evening dedicated to celebrating the people, partnerships and progress shaping our region.

Each year, our Ambassador Celebration brings together our Bondholders and stakeholders to reflect on what we’ve achieved together, and to recognise the businesses and individuals who continue to champion Humber’s future.

This year, we’re heading to Taphouse on Humber Street - one of the region’s most exciting venues, right at the heart of a place that has become a powerful symbol of the city’s transformation. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere with great food, entertainment, and the space to reconnect with familiar faces and build new relationships across the network.

Hosted by our Chair, Andrew Dawes, the evening will include:

  • Recognition of our long-standing Bondholders who continue to show commitment to our region
  • The announcement of our 2026 Changemaker Business
  • Reflections from our 2025 Change Maker winner, Back to Ours
  • Insights from a previous long-standing award recipient

Alongside the celebrations, there will be time to simply enjoy the evening - whether that’s catching up with fellow members, making new connections, or taking part in a bit of friendly competition, with darts available between 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

More than a moment of recognition, this evening is about the strength of our community, the pride we share in this place, and the collective ambition that continues to drive Humber forward.

We look forward to celebrating with you.
