Winners of the WOAA 2024

There are just over two weeks to go to put forward the inspirational women you know for the Women of Achievement Awards 2026, one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations of female talent. Entries close on Friday 14th August.

Organised by Women in Business Hull, the biennial awards shine a spotlight on women from both sides of the Humber who are transforming workplaces, leading with purpose, building successful businesses or making a powerful difference in their communities.

Rachel Miskin, Chair of Women in Business, said:

“Every time these awards come around, we’re reminded just how many extraordinary women are powering this region forward, often without ever shouting about what they’ve achieved. This is the moment to celebrate them properly. Nominate your colleagues, your friends, your family….. or nominate yourself. Their stories deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated.”

This year’s event will welcome Ashley James as guest speaker, a broadcaster, writer and one of the UK’s most recognisable feminist voices. Known for her advocacy around women’s safety, confidence and equality, Ashley brings a refreshing honesty and passion that promises to set an inspiring tone for the day. Meanwhile, this year’s chosen charity is Hull Lighthouse.

The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 13th November at the Mercure Hotel, Willerby. Ten categories are open for nominations, with judges selecting an overall Women of Achievement Award winner.
