Sewell Group appoints companies house directors from within

Hull-headquartered Sewell Group has announced the appointment of several new Companies House Directors from its existing leadership team as part of its growth ambitions across the UK.

The appointments come as the Group celebrates its 150th anniversary, with roots tracing back to 1876, and recognise senior people across the group for their contributions in executive roles, before taking up these positions on Companies House.

Sewell Group has two arms, with award-winning fuel station and convenience store operator Sewell on the go, and a range of estates businesses working nationally across consultancy, software, investments, construction and facilities management.

Sewell Group Ltd, the overarching company that spans the group’s estates businesses, welcomes Emma Bolton, CEO of Sewell Advisory and Becky Oughtibridge, Director of Professional Services, to its board of directors.

Across the wider group businesses, Dan Simmons has been appointed to Sewell Investments Ltd as Development Director and Geoff Smith has been appointed to Sewell Construction Ltd as Construction Services Director.

Over on the retail side of the business, Becky Oughtibridge has also been appointed to Sewell Retail Ltd (trading as Sewell on the go).

Sewell Group is well known for being a market leader in estates advice and construction, as well as in the retail sector. Having been named one of the UK’s best companies to work for in the Sunday Times awards for over a decade and recognised in the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for Promoting Opportunity, the Group has a focus on growing its own talent and developing people from within the business.
