Creative communications agency strengthens leadership team with three key appointments
Hull-based creative communications agency Pace strengthens its senior team with three key appointments as it sets sights on its next phase of growth. Simon Lucey joins as growth director, Claire Bromley as head of PR and communications, and Sally Goff takes on the newly created role of marketing manager.
After almost a decade working in marketing agencies, Simon founded youth marketing agency Hype Collective in 2018, working with brands including Co-op, Adobe and Deliveroo. Based in London, he joins Pace to lead its new business strategy, identify new opportunities and expand the agency’s client base across the UK and internationally.
Simon says: “Pace has built an impressive reputation and client base, but there’s a significant opportunity to build on that success. My focus will be on sharpening our approach to new business, expanding into new sectors and attracting more national and international clients, while showcasing the breadth of what Pace can offer.”
Claire brings more than 15 years’ agency experience, having led consumer and corporate campaigns for major brands including Sainsbury’s, Unilever and DFS. As head of PR and communications, she will lead Pace’s PR offering and work across the agency to develop integrated campaigns for clients.
Claire says: “Pace has a strong integrated offer, with huge opportunity for PR to work harder alongside social, creative and content. I’m looking forward to building on the work we do for major brands such as Trex and Victory Leisure Homes. There’s exciting potential to develop ambitious campaigns that deliver real impact.”
As Pace’s first marketing manager, Sally will be leading the development and delivery of the agency’s own marketing strategy in order to strengthen the Pace brand and grow its client base. Sally joins Pace from performance marketing agency Havas Market and brings over a decade of account management and marketing experience to her new role.
Sally says: “Pace does brilliant work for its clients, so my focus is on applying that same thinking to the agency itself. There’s a great story to tell about the people, expertise and work here, and I’m looking forward to helping make the agency front of mind for brands looking for an ambitious integrated partner.”
Anita Pace, founder and managing director of Pace said: “We’ve built a fantastic team and client base over the past 11 years, and our focus now is on accelerating that momentum. We want to attract more ambitious brands and continue developing the integrated work we’re delivering for clients.
“Simon, Claire and Sally bring a huge amount of experience and complementary expertise to the business, but just as importantly, they share our ambition for what Pace can become.”
