Humber's greatest strength celebrated at Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration
26 June 2026
More than 120 representatives from businesses, public sector organisations and community groups came together at Taphouse for Future Humber's Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration.
The annual celebration recognised the organisations and individuals helping shape the future of Humber, celebrating long-standing commitment, lasting impact and the partnerships that continue to move the region forward.
Throughout the evening, one message stood out above all else: Humber's greatest strength has always been its people.
The people who show up. The people who back each other. The people who open doors, create opportunities and choose collaboration over competition.
One of the highlights of the evening saw Back to Ours, Future Humber's 2025 Changemaker, reflect on what the recognition had meant over the past year before handing the title to ACE – Lived Experience, our 2026 Changemaker.
The Changemaker Award recognises organisations creating positive, lasting impact across Humber. Alongside the award, ACE – Lived Experience will receive a complimentary year of Future Humber Bondholder membership, helping create new partnerships, strengthen connections and continue growing its impact across the region.
The evening also celebrated organisations whose continued commitment has helped shape the Future Humber network over many years.

A special presentation was also made to Andrew Hirst, Future Humber's Financial Director, who will be leaving the organisation after more than 20 years of service. As Future Humber continues its work to champion the region nationally and internationally, the Annual Bondholder Ambassador Celebration remains a reminder that place promotion starts at home.
Because when we celebrate Humber's strengths, connect its people and back the organisations making a difference, we create more opportunities for everyone.
Good things happen when Humber gets in the same room.
