The appointments reflect Future Humber's continued investment in building the capacity required to deliver its expanding programme of work across place promotion, membership, events, communications and strategic partnerships, ensuring the organisation remains well positioned to work alongside businesses and partners to maximise opportunities for Humber.

Joining the Future Humber team are Abbie Thompson, who takes up the role of Marketing and Events Executive, and Elise Kingston, who joins as Membership Experience Executive.

Working across complementary areas of the organisation, Abbie will support the delivery of Future Humber's marketing, communications and events programme, helping to tell Humber's story and showcase the people, businesses and opportunities shaping the region. Elise will focus on strengthening relationships across the Bondholder network, enhancing the member experience and ensuring businesses maximise the value of their membership.

Together, the appointments further strengthen Future Humber's ability to deliver impactful campaigns and events, build stronger connections across its network and continue creating opportunities that benefit businesses throughout the Humber.

Dr. Diana Taylor, Managing Director of Future Humber, said:

"Everything we do starts with Humber. As the opportunities for our region continue to grow, so too does the responsibility to ensure Humber is represented with confidence, ambition and a strong, united voice.

"These appointments are an investment in our ability to continue bringing people together, strengthening our Bondholder network, championing Humber and creating opportunities that deliver long-term value for businesses and the wider region.

"Abbie and Elise both impressed us throughout the recruitment process with their enthusiasm, creativity and genuine passion for people. They each bring fresh perspectives to the organisation, and we're delighted to welcome them to Future Humber as we continue building an ambitious organisation focused on delivering long-term impact for Humber."

Abbie Thompson said:

"Having grown up in the Humber, I know first-hand what a special place it is, and that there's a story here that deserves to be heard far more widely.
