Children’s charity in the spotlight as Beal unveils latest luxury show homes

Beal has opened three new luxury show homes at The Greenways in Goole, which form Beal’s biggest and most impressive show arena on a current development.

The show arena was opened by guest of honour Amy Owen, Fundraising Officer of OSCAR’s Charity. Beal is a supporter of the charity and is sponsoring the Star of Hope Wall at the charity’s upcoming black tie ball at Cave Castle in South Cave, East Yorkshire.

OSCAR’s exists to support and care for children facing brain tumours and their families, raising awareness and funding new research to drive down diagnosis time, increase survival rates and improve children’s quality of life during and after treatment.

Amy, who lives in Hessle, close to Beal’s head office, joined OSCAR’s earlier this year after her son, Roux, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just four weeks old. Her family have been supported by OSCAR’s over the past six years and she now works with the charity to help other families like her own.

She said: “OSCAR’s began life in York, but it is important to extend our reach to the wider Yorkshire region and the rest of the UK, with my work focusing on East Yorkshire initially.

“Having the support of a leading local business such as Beal Homes is invaluable, not only because of the generous financial support, but also in helping us to raise awareness of the work we do and how families can access help.”

The new show arena features a four-bedroom detached Haxby house type with a garage conversion, a three-bedroom detached Hackness home, and a three-bedroom semi-detached Rosedale.

A second Rosedale will serve as the new Marketing Suite with private office spaces offering a relaxed and convenient location for house hunters to speak with Beal’s experienced sales team as well as take private calls with advisors or complete paperwork, if needed.

The show homes have been designed by new homes interior design specialist, Edward Thomas Interiors, to highlight the vast range of design options available to Beal buyers.

The Rosedale showcases the high-quality craftmanship and wide range of design choices which are available as standard with Beal, while the Haxby features luxury upgrades, such as chrome plug sockets, oak bannisters and bespoke bathroom upgrades, demonstrating how buyers have the opportunity to personalise their home to suit their own unique style.

Among the first visitors on the opening day were Beth Roberts and Lewis Wood.

The couple, who both currently live with their families in Hull, are looking to buy their first home together at Beal’s King’s Crescent development in the city’s popular Kingswood community.

Beth said: “We’re interested in the Rosedale and, when we heard Beal were opening a show home of that house type, we decided to make the trip to Goole to see it for ourselves.

“The show home is lovely – seeing it in person has definitely confirmed that this is the home for us! It’ll be a perfect first home, while having enough space for a family in future, which is definitely something we’re looking for.

“Seeing the show home has given us so much interior design inspiration for our future home too!”

Lewis, who is a bricklayer and previously worked on Beal’s Turpin’s Chase development in Welton, East Yorkshire, said the quality of Beal homes is what attracted the couple to King’s Crescent.

Beal is investing over £200m in The Greenways where more than 380 homes have now been sold, underlining its status as one of Yorkshire’s most successful new residential communities.

The opening of the show arena signals the next phase of the development, which will ultimately bring 800 high-quality homes to Goole and is playing an integral role in the rejuvenation of the town, complementing major investments by blue chip employers such as Siemens Mobility.
