Regional

Hull & East Yorkshire is at a pivotal moment as a region. Capitalising on this energy and ambition, HEY Creative is inviting people across Hull and East Yorkshire to share their reflections on how business and arts and culture can further connect and collaborate to create a thriving region for all.

Arts and culture support our region to thrive, at an individual, community and economic level. This is your chance to contribute to shaping the campaigns and initiatives that will support and shout loud for our region’s arts and culture over the coming years. By enhancing connections between arts and culture and business, we can strengthen and showcase the region, increasing our economic and social impact, and embedding innovation and creativity at the heart of our region’s future.

HEY Creative seeks to create the conditions where culture and creativity flourish for the benefit of everyone in Hull and East Yorkshire. A cross-sector partnership, bringing together business, education, health, the public sector and arts and culture, HEY Creative seeks to harness the power of the region’s arts and culture to maximise economic success, placemaking, community cohesion and personal wellbeing. Established with support from Arts Council England, it is one of only 30 such partnerships across the country.

Newly appointed Chief Officer Max May, and Chair of HEY Creative, Dominic Gibbons, Managing Director of Wykeland Group, have launched an online consultation to hear from businesses and arts and culture about opportunities for further collaboration and connectivity.

HEY Creative’s short questionnaire gives you the opportunity to share your reflections and ideas of how you want business and arts and culture to connect in Hull & East Yorkshire. It’s also an opportunity to showcase any great examples you know that already exist in the region or beyond. Everyone engaged in business and arts and culture across the region is invited to respond.

Complete the consultation by Wednesday 6th March 2024. Your input is invaluable, so don't miss this opportunity to be a part of Hull & East Yorkshire's cultural evolution.
