Why This Programme Matters

The nature of leadership is changing.

The skills that helped people succeed in the past are not always the skills that will help them succeed in the future.

Today's leaders must be adaptable, resilient, collaborative and comfortable navigating uncertainty.

At the same time, Humber is entering a period of significant opportunity. New industries, investment, innovation and growth are creating exciting possibilities across the region.

To realise that opportunity, we need people who are ready to step forward and lead through change.

The Humber Leaders Programme has been designed to help develop those future leaders.

Absolutely.

In fact, the programme has been designed with exactly this in mind. Many people step into leadership roles because they are good at their job, but never receive formal training on how to lead people through change, build trust, create accountability or influence others.

The Humber Leaders Programme provides a foundation in these skills, helping participants develop their leadership capability in a supportive and practical environment.
