Hull Trains
Hull Trains is an award winning, open-access operator, running 94 direct services a week from Hull and the East Riding region direct to the Capital. Our people are what sets us apart and through their efforts, alongside our value for money commercial focus, we are one of the most innovative, enterprising and dynamic long-distance train operating companies in the UK.
We’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading rail operators for passenger satisfaction. In the past, we’ve topped the National Rail Passenger Survey and in May 2024 we announced an outstanding overall satisfaction rate of 96%.
We operate high-speed bi-mode trains, realising the benefits of electrification to the region, offering quieter, smoother and greener journeys. We also provide both First and Standard Class accommodation with at seat food and drink provision throughout the journey (this is complimentary in First Class).
We pride ourselves on being one of the most customer-focused long-distance train operators in the UK, working in close partnership with locally based food suppliers, as well as employing for over 120 colleagues directly and a further 100 through our wider supply chain. Since 2000, we are estimated to have delivered between £180 - 380m of monetised investment to the businesses and communities that we serve. Taking into account forecasts for the next ten years, those figures are estimated to grow to a total economic benefits delivery of £325m-700m, from launch through to 2032 in line with our current track access agreement.
We are delighted to be part of the Bondholders initiative and play our part in the continued development of this region.
