Giroscope Limited

Giroscope is an award-winning West Hull charity currently celebrating 40 years of neighbourhood renewal. Our work involves transforming empty buildings into affordable, sustainable homes and commercial spaces, as well as building new homes. We also support people to gain the connections and skills to find pathways into employment and enterprise.

In recent years, Giroscope has embarked on ambitious regeneration schemes, notably the Grade II listed, former parish church, the St Matthew's Community Enterprise Centre and the planned transformation of West Park Palace on Anlaby Road for community, culture and learning.

Giroscope is expanding our social enterprise initiatives to create jobs, business opportunities and neighbourhood services. We will increase affordable housing provision, purchasing empty and low-quality private rented properties and building new homes.  We will continue to advocate with the UK Government and through our networks to address the housing crisis and street-level neighbourhood renewal.

As a Future Humber Bondholder, Giroscope connects local community-driven development with broader regional corporate networks.
