Bondholders is proud to have sponsored the Hull Live Business Awards in 2023. The annual event celebrates achievement in the world of business in Hull and East Yorkshire and this year, as in previous years, Bondholder organisations found themselves as finalists and as winners. A huge congratulations to all Bondholders on your success in business this year, whether or not you won or reached the finals.

Bondholders sponsored the enviable Business of the Year Award. The finalists were Adams & Green, Soanes Poultry, and Bondholders Willerby Ltd, with Adams & Green taking the crown. Congratulations to them! Bill Walker, Chair of Future Humber made the presentation on behalf of Bondholders.

Bondholder highlights 

There were many successes in other categories for Bondholders including Business Person of the Year for Andy Sykes, Plant Director at Siemens Gamesa and board member of Future Humber. Fellow finalists included Tony Prescott of GTS Logistics and Daniel Casey of Sapphire Signs.  

Congratulations to Reckitt who won two awards; the Global Britain Award and the Innovation Award.  

Congratulations to Sowden & Sowden who won Small Business of the Year.

Hull Trains won the Best Place to Work Award. Bondholders H&H were one of the other finalists along with Cloud Design Box. 

Darren Howden of John Good Group was a finalist in the Unsung Hero Award as was Alex Webster of City Health Care Partnership, who won! 

Pure Renewables and John Good Group were finalists in the Environment and Sustainability Award along with winners Premier Modular.  

Good Travel Management, part of John Good Group, were finalists in the Growth Award, and Chelsea Gill was a finalist in the Rising Star Award category.  

Congratulations to all finalists and winners. What an amazing night of celebrating some of our region’s best businesses and talent. Same again next year?
