We will share insights into best practices and legal requirements (including discrimination) for managing sickness and absence, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.  You will enhance your skills and confidence in addressing long and short-term absence issues and facilitating successful return-to-work processes.  We will look at different types of absence and how you might handle them, including your statutory obligations. We will cut through sick leave, pay, fitness notes, medical reports, self-certification and the importance of record keeping, to help you manage the absence in your business to a successful outcome.  
 
We will explore strategies for creating a supportive and healthy work environment, including managing stress, promoting work-life balance, and addressing presenteeism. 

We will equip you with practical tools and resources that you can immediately apply.  You will work with other delegates to develop specific policies and processes to effectively manage sickness and absence within your organisation.
