Aura Innovation Centre, HU13 0GD

Date: Tuesday 14th November 2023

Time: 15:00 to 16:30

Venue: Aura Innovation Centre, Hull, HU13 0GD

What are Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and what can they do for your business?

  • Does your business have a knowledge gap that means that you can’t solve a strategic problem or deliver on a significant opportunity?
  • Do you need to improve your business’s processes or systems to increase your competitive edge and productivity?
  • Do you struggle to attract good quality people into your workplace?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) could be your solution.

Join us for this free KTP event where you will find out all you need to know about KTP and how you can improve your business by partnering with the University of Hull. During the event you will hear directly from Academics, Associates and Company partners on the range and breadth of what the programme can offer.

What is a KTP?

KTP is a nationally funded business support programme that promotes business innovation. It’s been running since 1975 and has supported more than 14,000 businesses to drive innovation and improve company performance. It has lasted this long because it works and is seeing its budget increase to support more projects this year.

KTP’s work by providing academic support and funding to businesses (both large and small), Charities and Public Sector Organisations to resolve strategic problems or deliver significant opportunities by utilising innovative thinking and technologies to create new and improved products, processes, or services. They also provide an excellent route to recruit good quality staff in the form of Associates who are recently qualified graduates or post-graduates in a relevant discipline, recruited to act as project managers on each partnership.
