Mires Beck Nursery is a registered charity situated in North Cave on a 14-acre commercial nursery and conservation site. We have grown plants and trees at this wonderful rural location for over 30 years as a green therapy for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and Autism. It is an oasis of calm, and its sensory benefits are a positive aid to helping people dealing with the challenges of mental health. We host business volunteers regularly and help people dealing with anxiety, through our nature art project. We are developing our operation further to deliver our social therapeutic horticulture to the elderly.

We have a large wholesale business for plants and trees and have recently won a Rural Business Award.  We are suppliers to large conservation and landscaping projects throughout the region and are now the key tree supplier to the Northern Forest project working with Humber Forest. As a consequence, we have expanded our tree nursery to a second site near Pocklington. We can grow to order, and all work carried out will develop the knowledge of our service users and help to improve their self-esteem.
