Tricoya Ventures UK Ltd is an Accsys Group company incorporated to build and operate the world’s first Tricoya® wood chip plant. Tricoya® chips are produced using Accsys’ proprietary acetylation technology and are used in long-lasting interior and exterior wood-based panel products.

Tricoya® wood chips have been used in wood-based panels for construction projects on all seven continents including Antarctica, the coldest, driest and windiest continent. Here Tricoya® panels were used to restore Scott’s hut in 2017 due to its stability in extreme environments.

Wood-based panels made using Tricoya® chips are warrantied for use in water or in the ground for 25 years, and 50 years above ground.

We are building the world’s first Tricoya plant in Hull and are expecting a total capex investment of €59m. The plant is expected to address the increased global demand for Tricoya panels due to their exceptional properties and unique offering.
