Active Humber vision is that the Humber is a place where everyone, is active every day.

Active Humber is a charitable company whose purpose is to help people of all ages and backgrounds to improve their health and well-being by taking part in regular physical activity and sport.

Active Humber is one of the 43 Active Partnerships located across England and is the designated Active Partnership for the Humber region, and receives funding from Sport England to help achieve the Sport England strategy 'Towards an Active Nation' at a community level.

We work with a wide range of partners to develop physical activity, active recreation and sport including sports clubs, schools, Colleges and Universities, health, education, business, charities, national governing bodies and the local authorities.

Our funding comes from a number of sources including significant funding from Sport England. Other funders include the Department of Health, National Governing Bodies of Sport and other national sports agencies.
