We are looking for an inspiring and effective manager to lead the delivery of essential student support services across our campuses. This is a key role focused on enhancing the student experience and supporting student wellbeing, engagement, and success throughout their time at the college.
As the Student Services Manager, you will oversee a wide range of services including health and wellbeing, attendance, bursary support, and counselling. You will lead and manage a diverse team, ensuring they are well-supported, motivated, and delivering a first-rate service. Key responsibilities will include the recruitment, induction, and development of your team, ensuring all services are accessible, effective, and continuously improving.
You’ll work closely with other college departments and external agencies to provide a holistic support system for our students. You will also play a key role in coordinating and delivering events and student activities, contributing to the wider college community.
We are seeking someone who is experienced in team leadership, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You should have a good understanding of the challenges students face and be passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment. Experience of managing budgets, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines, and delivering measurable outcomes is essential.
