As a Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for brand-centred storytelling across our website, social media, and internal/external communications for our six distinct business units. You will take ownership of our editorial calendar, manage social media, write compelling copy and nurture customer journeys. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategic, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Executive at Spencer Group you will:

  • Implement content strategies across all of our business units including content creation, engagement, community management and user-generated content
  • Create and curate engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand’s image and voice
  • Manage social media platforms, internal communication and external communication campaigns
  • Work closely with internal teams to create and promote content
  • Monitor and analyse performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed to optimise results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the industry
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage and schedule regular posts and maintain a consistent posting schedule
  • Monitor and respond to customer enquiries and feedback across all platforms

Person Specification 

  • Strong writing/proof reading skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in prioritising a heavy workload and the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to focus on key priorities with a results driven approach
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of content creation, user-generated content, and engagement strategies
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions

Qualifications & Experience

  • A-level in English (Minimum grade C) or relevant qualification is essential
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of WordPress and CRM software is beneficial
