We have an excellent opening for someone to join our team within our Grimsby office. We are looking for a full-time candidate. We offer flexibility, a great work life balance, great job satisfaction and the opportunity to become part of the Forrester Boyd family.

What does the job involve?

A typical working day could include:

  • Providing a bookkeeping service for a wide range of clients including sales, purchase and nominal ledger maintenance/processing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT return preparation
  • Advising clients on the use of accounting software
  • Communicating with clients and managing their queries
  • Preparing reports for clients

What do you need to bring to the table?

Ideally we would like you to have:

  • Strong experience of managing ledgers and preparing reconciliations
  • Confidence with accounting software
  • Customer service experience and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
     
  • The ability to work unaided to strict deadlines

AAT level 4 qualification would be preferred, if not qualified to level 4 AAT we would expect the right candidate to be qualified by experience.
