With a strategic focus on our region re-defining place with ambition, confidence and investment, and with an updated lifestyle brochure on the horizon, we took the opportunity to update our stock of photos, starting with locations in North and North East Lincolnshire.

Photo shoots take a fair bit of organising, but are always worth effort to ensure we capture the true essence of our unique ‘place’. There’s the photographer to book, locations to source, models to mobilise, and then there’s the weather. We were fortunate this time round in that the rain, while it threatened for the bulk of the day, stayed away at the vital moments. Thank you to whoever arranged that for us as it was most helpful!   

Thank you also to Alison Mitchell of Forrester Boyd, Nina Stobart and Laura Donington from Phillips 66, Jen Vincent of Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire and Lauren Little of Orsted for their input on locations and finding willing models. The coffee shop location shown in the pictures is Ted’s Coffee Shop in Caistor, which is an absolute gem of a place.  

Thank you to all the models who took part and gave us permission to use them in future publications for both us and our Bondholders. This is an important part of promoting our region to those looking to move here to live and work and we truly appreciate your participation.  

A huge shout out to Tom Arran, our photographer for the day. He put himself through highs and lows to get the shots that we needed. We are looking forward to seeing the end result.  

Our day took us to the village of Appleby, the town of Caistor, Cleethorpes Boating Lake, and to Huttoft Beach. These really are beautiful places, and we are so very fortunate to have these on our doorstep. And yes, photo shoots take some organising and can be tiring but we do appreciate being able to spend our working time exploring these wonderful places and meeting the people who live there.  

We really do love where we live and a focus for 2023 is on making sure that we are able to reinforce place-making through imagery, words, and video, which we can use on our ongoing projects and make available to Bondholders, so we can all work together in telling the story of the Humber as a fantastic place to call home.
