Stage@theDock, Hull, HU1 1UU and Bert's
10:00am - 12:30pm including networking lunch.
This event for Humber Business Week, part of the Bondholders Talent+ programme, will help you communicate confidently, and with clarity, when public speaking. It will help you captivate your audience and connect with people in order to ensure your messages are delivered as clearly out loud as they are in your mind.
We are delighted to be joined by experienced Performance Coach, Jackie Dack, who will lead this interactive, lively session to give you the confidence boost you need when pitching, presenting, and having important conversations.
Date: Tuesday 6th June
Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm (networking lunch from 11:30am)
Venue: Stage @TheDock, Humber Street, Hull, HU1 1UU
On the 6th June, we welcomed over 60 delegates to Bert's Pizzeria in Hull to learn more from Professional Coach Jackie Dack about public speaking. What a wonderful event it was!
Jackie Dack, a theatre director and coach passed on her energy and wisdom in her own unique style. We learnt all about sharks, stances, and throwing shapes. There were some great questions from the audience and everyone was encouraged to get up and try out a technique or two on some willing partners. We all left feeling a little more equipped with the tools to start and to develop our speaking skills. You will not get eaten!
After, we had a networking lunch of pizza, which went down very well. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part. We hope you all felt the session was useful and fun.

We had some amazing feedback about the event, both on the day and later. Thank you to everyone who has shared on social media about this, and about Talent+. We are looking forward to seeing you at the next one!
