Hessle Theatre Company presents its version of Our House - the award-winning West End musical about love, laughter and learning to do the right thing. 

This amateur production combines the funny and ingenious script by Tim Firth (Calendar Girls, Kinky Boots), alongside all the hit songs of the band Madness. The show is the roof-raising musical that thrillingly plays out two-futures-in-one.

It’s Joe’s 16th birthday.  Trying too hard to impress his new girlfriend, he faces a split-second decision.  Will he do the right thing or take the easy path?  A crack of thunder, and the story miraculously splits, following two versions of Joe as his choice sends his life veering off in different directions.  In which life will Joe stay on the straight and narrow so he can save his mum’s future, and finally win the heart of the girl he’s always loved?

The West End production of Our House won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for Joe’s amazing quick-changes as the same actor switches between the two versions of his life.
