John Good Group have several new Business Travel Consultants opportunities available with Good Travel Management as the company makes considerable investments in the business and its people as part of our ambitious growth plans.

As a Business Travel Consultant you will be responsible for handling the travel arrangements for executive clients.

You will provide an efficient, proactive and consultative service and ensure the highest level of customer service is offered at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Handling enquiries in an efficient, professional manner in accordance with service level agreements
  • Research and confirm all aspects of travel including, rail, transfers, flights, hotels and car parking
  • Research and offer advice on country entry requirements
  • Manage queries and amendment requests
Skills
  • It is essential that you have previous Business Travel Consultant experience
  • Experience of GDS is an essential requirement of the role
  • Experience in researching country restrictions and travel advice is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with complex situations and offer solutions
  • Good organisational and IT Skills
  • Self-driven, resilient, positive, and motivated
  • Enjoys working as a team but can also work independently
  • Right to work – you must be able to provide relevant documentation to support the requirements. We are unable to offer sponsorship at present
